Brighthink hosts live events that give space to ideas that challenge assumptions, spark curiosity and provoke conversation. Speakers include leading academics, journalists and authors from across the UK and beyond, covering science, technology, culture, politics, philosophy and more.
I was asked to create music and idents for the Brighthink podcast, allowing a global audience to experience these special events.
The Brighthink team were after a sound reminiscent of educational broadcasts from the 70s and 80s. I used analogue synths, an all-analogue signal path and printed the master on VHS tape.
